Welcome to Third Grade!
The Wilson 3rd grade is so smart! We have been studying the moon, sun, and Earth. The third grade takes excellent notes on everything! We are still reading fractured versions of "The Three Little Pigs" and will even be writing our own version soon. In math, we learned stategies for solving addition problems (using mental math, estimating, and compatible numbers). The third grade can explain the different properties of addition and what they mean! We have been learning about writing and why it is so important, and using our writing to answer questions in every subject.
This year, we are learning about the continents with second grade. We have started with Australia. It is such an interesting country and continent. We are working on a special presentation to show the whole school! Check back often for updates and pictures of the new Wilson third grade class.
